Setting up

  1. Log into your Magento client space

  2. From your menu on the upper part of your page, click System

    From the drop down menu, go to Web Services

    Then click REST - OAuth Consumers

Generating your API Key

Authorization

  1. On the upper right, click on the button + Add New

  2. In the Name bar, enter “Silvr” and enter your Magento password in Current Admin Password

    Copy your Key and Secret Key elsewhere as you will need to use it in the next steps (i.e. Notes, a different document)

Configuring Silvr’s Role

  1. From your menu on the upper part of your page, click System

  2. From the drop down menu, go to Web Services

  3. Then click REST Roles

  4. On the upper right, click on the button +Add Admin Role

  5. In the Role Name bar, enter “Silvr” and enter your Magento password in Current Admin Password

  6. On the menu on the left under Role Information, click on Role API Resources and check off the following boxes.

  7. Click Save Role

Authorizing Integration for the Magento User

  1. From your menu on the upper part of your page, click System

    From the drop down menu, go to Permissions

    Then click Users

  2. Click on the user or admin you wish to authorize integration for
